Who we are
This company was formed by Brian Campbell in 1980 and Incorporated in 1982. Our services include construction layout/surveys, topographical surveys for design build projects, earth quantity surveys and building layouts. We have been involved in construction surveys for numerous projects across the GTA and all across southern Ontario. Our client list is extensive as we are involved in about 50 to 200 projects per year. Some types of clients from past and present projects include: developers, towns, cities, civil engineers, architects, and contractors.
What we do
Contractor works include parks, roads, sewers, water-mains site servicing, underground or overhead hydro servicing and installations for new subdivisions and rehabilitation of older subdivisions. Earth moving layout for site preparation and also the monitoring of quantities. Layout of baseball parks, soccer fields, play areas, parking lots, and walkways. For private home owners we have done house construction, outbuildings, lot grading and fence layouts, etc. We have been involved in airports, railways, both highways and buildings of all sizes as well, although site servicing; underground hydro, gas, and telephony, parks, and rehabilitation are now our main works.
Why BMC?
All of our works are completed using CAD-based technology (Carlson Software) to interface with designers and contractors for construction and engineering, topographical, or any other surveys required. We are equipped with modern GPS RTK receivers in pairs to avoid potential inaccuracies outside of tolerance by networked or “baseless” systems, total stations and levels of various types to complete any works requested. We get the job done both skillfully, and quickly because we understand that time is money and clients need our services promptly.
